Four Winds Equine Rescue
Four Winds Equine Rescue
a non-profit organization
Four Winds Equine Rescue provides a safe haven for the healing transformation of equines in need from our local area until placement in their forever homes through a community of
like-minded volunteers.
Please help us help them. We are in need of volunteers to help us with these animals. To learn more on how you can help please see our How You Can Help page.
We have been very blessed to have placed a great majority of our horses in loving forever homes. The equines in our care now are in rehabilitation or sanctuary. However, the status of equines in our care can change daily. If you are interested in opening a space in your home and your heart for an adopted equine, please contact us. We may have a horse looking for your home in our care.
We are constantly in need of donations. Horses in rehabilitation and sanctuary tend to have higher than average veterinary and feed bills. Please consider donating to help these horses.
As part of our rehabilitation program, we are using bitless alternatives when possible. We have noticed a positive difference in how the horses react to the rider when using these alternatives. Tammy Miller at Tammy’s Rope Tack (www.tammysropetack.com) has been kind enough to donate bitless bridles. Please visit her website and see if one of these options will work for you and your horse. We will post pictures as we continue with this project.

We enjoy the work we do with these horses, donkeys, and other equines and we are grateful to be given the opportunity to help these wonderful creatures. However, we are in need of financial assistance. If our mission speaks to your heart, and if you are able to help, please consider making a donation to our organization. If you are able to help, we will be more than happy to provide you with a donation letter for tax deduction purposes.

"Someone must speak for them. I do not see a delegation for the four footed. I see no seat for eagles.
We forget and we consider ourselves superior, but we are after all a mere part of the Creation."
